I am a Cubase User and just recently decided to give Logic try since it came bundled with my Audio Card a bought (M-Audio Delta 44, very good sounding and stable card by the way)
I am still confused with the way Logic operates, it seems that more and more producers prefer Logic over Cubase. If you know of any tutorials online that can help de-mystify Logic, please post the links here.
Oh yes, while I'm at it. I love the EXSP24 Sampler from Emagic, why is there no OS X VST Version of it? That's a great sampler but for OSX, there's no VST version available. |

Hi Moderator, I dont hear of many people using VST on OS-X because Audio Units are used instead. You can even get an app to convert VSTs to AUs too. Ive been using Logic for 3 years but its only part of my work so I still have a long way to go with it. I used to use Cubase but didnt find the transition that hard. I moved cause I moved (back) to Macs... never to return I hope :O) Dont see any Logic tuts out there either, have some good books and do a lot of pressing buttons and ignoring the wiring bit which Ive always started to loose consciousness when Ive tried to understand it. _________________ Co |
